Expanded metal mesh sizes
Micromesh expanded metal
Micromesh covers the range of the smallest mesh lengths. This refers to meshes between 0.5 mm and 6.0 mm in length. Micromesh has many advantages: Among other things, it offers high dimensional stability, especially at the edges. Nevertheless, it is malleable and, like all expanded metal, economically efficient. High free cross-sections with a homogeneous surface can also be achieved with the Micromesh. Fraying at the edges can be ruled out. In many cases, Micromesh can be used as an alternative to metal mesh and perforated sheeting.
Fine-meshed expanded metal
Fine mesh covers the range from a mesh length of 6.0 mm to 22.0 mm. The fine mesh also has good formability, as the mesh can be bent, refined or deep-drawn, for example. The fine mesh can be used for a wide range of applications, both with a structured, three-dimensional surface and flat-rolled. Here, too, the good economic efficiency and the high achievable free cross-sections are an advantage.
Center mesh expanded metal
Expanded metal in the “center mesh” size covers the range with a mesh length of 23.00 mm to 61.0 mm. Expanded metal in these mesh ranges can be found in almost all areas of our daily lives. Here too, high free cross-sections can be achieved with great economy. Due to their high dimensional stability, the grilles can be cut to size as required.
Large mesh expanded metal
Large mesh expanded metal covers the area with a mesh length from 62.00 mm. Here too, the greatest advantages are the high dimensional stability and the fundamental advantages of expanded metal, the high level of economy and the high free cross-section.
The size of expanded metal meshes is usually specified in millimeters (mm). In our warehouse we have expanded metal with many standard mesh sizes in stock. On request, we can also produce special mesh sizes according to your individual requirements.
