Safe with a system
We want to offer our employees a safe and healthy working environment. We think prevention is better than aftercare. In order to be optimally positioned in these areas, we have had ourselves tested!
The “Sicher mit System” seal is a quality seal that is awarded to companies that have established a systematic occupational health and safety management system and thus guarantee long-term safety and health promotion for their employees.
By implementing a “safe with a system” occupational health and safety management system, accidents, illnesses and absences from work are to be reduced and working conditions continuously improved. The seal therefore stands for responsibility and sustainability in occupational health and safety.
Our new occupational health and safety management officer brought a breath of fresh air to the company. For example, a new occupational safety team was set up, a traffic light system for statutory inspections was introduced, an action board was set up, an outdoor break room was designed and, above all, safety in the company was improved. At the beginning of this year, we were audited by the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal in accordance with the international guidelines for occupational health and safety management systems.
Following a detailed review of occupational health and safety, we were able to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement and thus improve our occupational health and safety organization.
We passed the test and are now entitled to bear the “Systematic safety” seal of approval. But we don’t want to rest on our laurels, because occupational health and safety is subject to continuous monitoring and improvement processes.
